Apple to move away from Intel chipsets, New Macbooks expected this September

Apple is likely to move away from Intel chipsets to various third party chipsets. That could be Nvidia, ATi or Via chipsets. But it will still continue to use Intel Processors and will have same 1066 Mhz FSB. For the end user it is unlikely to cause any change because most people don't bother chipsets as end user functionalities are almost same.

Apple is likely to introduce Macbook , the new range of Macbooks at the end of september. The new Macbooks are likely to new casing, one similar to Macbook air. Also a new touch pad with multitouch gestures are likely. Also there are some rumours that Apple will also reduces Macbook prices to $999 range. Also an upgrade to specifications of iMacs are likely . The specifications of iMac range are not as competitve are PC counterparts. As Macbook and iMac have almost same specifications a iMac upgrade is very likely to happen. But the design is not likely to change . Remember Apple introduced new iMac only on last April. The new iMac is expected only next year.
